Mr Berber was kind and patient, he spent time really listening to my explanation and gave me full information about some options, including possible negative aspects. I felt I could ask him anything, including my doubts and fears. If ever I need surgery in his field I wouldn’t hesitate to return. He’s a star.

My total right knee replacement, on 27 July 2022, was undertaken by Mr Berber and his team at the Park Hospital. At the initial consultation he put me at my ease and guided me, with great professionalism, through the benefits and risks of the procedure. The Park, of course, is a wonderful hospital and the staff were all professional and very caring. A total knee replacement is major surgery but I always felt that I was being looked after by a team on top of their game. After he had completed the surgery, Mr Berber came to see me, explained that the post-operation x-ray looked good and that the rehabilitation ought to progress as expected. The rehabilitation process began the day after surgery when the physio team made sure I had recovered sufficiently to go home. Thereafter, until I was seen by Mr Berber my progress has been good. I was shown the x-ray, and had my questions about the type of implant and readiness for driving answered with aplomb. I highly recommend Mr Berber.

I went to The Park hospital on July 19th for a total hip replacement under the care of Mr Berber and his team. What a wonderful experience I had. From walking into reception until being helped into my car on leaving, every single member of staff, from every single department doing every role were warm, friendly, courteous, professional and an absolute pleasure to meet. Going to hospital can be an anxious time but I would go there again without hesitation. You should all be very proud of your wonderful hospital, it must be a pleasure to work there because you all exude happiness and care. I am recovering fantastically well and can’t believe how well I am progressing every single day. I have had follow up appointments with physio which have been great and I’ve been to see Mr Berber today for my 6 week check up. I’ve seen my shiny new hip on x-ray and I am feeling very proud of my progress and very grateful for Mr Berbers fantastic work. Thank you, every single one of you, for everything ❤️ Lisa C
